Europe
Major cities in Europe should allow at least 7 days extra for delivery once the order has been processed and confirmed as shipped. Additional taxes and customs charges are the responsibility of the customer.
International
All international destinations including the USA & Canada can expect deliveries to take at least 7 days once the order has been processed and confirmed as shipped. Additional taxes and customs charges are the responsibility of the customer.
We cannot guarantee delivery dates for overseas delivery dates as they are subject to customs clearance in the destination country.

Delivery date will be advised when stock availability is confirmed.
Payment methods
- You can make a payment by debit or credit card, cheque, postal order or protec
- Please note: Do not send cash in the post.
- We offer secure card processing.
- Payment can be made over the telephone with a credit or debit card.
- Personal and company cheques and postal orders are acceptable and so are postal orders via our Pro-Forma invoice system.
- Orders will be dispatched for shipping when payment in full has been processed.
- Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to Fancy-Dress.com.
All credit and debit card transactions are made directly with Protx, credit card details are not disclosed to us.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 15% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
The prices on the website are shown as VAT excluded. In the case of children's clothing, these are VAT exempt.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Faulty Goods
To return a faulty product, please email a member of staff at sales@fancy-dress.com for return authorisation. You will be asked for the reason for the return including whether you will prefer a refund or exchange. In addition, you will need to confirm your name, order number and postcode, so please have these available if you telephone.
When return authorisation has been granted simply include the reason for your return, your full contact information and order number if available with your return, and wrap the package securely. Please return goods to the address at the top of your receipt. May we please ask you to additionally note:

You are responsible for any returned goods until they reach us. Cost and risk of return is at your expense and we strongly recommend that you receive proof of postage.
Cancelled Orders
If you are not happy with any product you have ordered and received from ourselves, then you may return them to us within 7 working days from receipt of delivery. Please return via RECORDED DELIVERY (as described above) for an exchange, credit note or refund. If you choose to exchange the unwanted item for an exchange totalling higher than your original, then you will be liable to pay the difference. Postage costs do not constitute as part of the credit note.
All non-faulty returned goods will only be accepted if they are in the same condition as they were sent out, i.e. in original packaging with all relevant materials enclosed and unworn. Any non-faulty returns that are not received in this way will be sent back to you at your cost or held pending contact. All items will be inspected on their return to us and you will be emailed regarding your refund/exchange status.
We try to refund within 1 week of receipt of returned goods but can guarantee this during busy periods and therefore promise that you will be refunded within 30 calendar days from the day the goods are returned to us. Please note we will not be held liable for any interest payment that you may incur because any refund was made outside of your credit/debit card timescales.
Any returned items that we receive that are outside this returns policy will be defined as ‘pending refund’. Such pending items will not be refunded or exchanged but may be sent back to you at your cost or continued to be held, awaiting contact.
We are unable to replace or exchange an item until the original has been returned to us. If you need an item in a hurry we suggest placing a second order and return the unwanted item to us for a refund.
